Meet Mr. Mengeche Derso, a dedicated 62 years old farmer from Ethiopia's renowned Yirgacheffe region.
Mr. Mengeche has 12 children. Along with four of his children, he actively works on the coffee farm.
They use natural fertilizers such as animal manure and plant remnants to enrich the soil. His farm, situated at 2300 MASL, is one of the many in the area known for producing premium coffee.
In the cup, expect vibrant notes of strawberries, stone fruits, and dark chocolate finish.

Brewing Recommendation
- We roast light and expressive. Our recommendation for coffee to water ratio is 1:17 ratio.
- We recommend trying 92C-94C water temperature for any manual dripper.
- Freshly roasted coffee contains CO2. Allowing it to rest for 2–3 weeks will reduce the gas and will help the flavours open up.
