Patio Bonito is a family-run farm known for hard work, precision, and a constant drive to improve. Farm owner Carlos Arturo Trujillo has grown coffee for nearly 50 years, and believes that while the path has been long, the results are deeply rewarding. He is supported by his daughter Paola Trujillo, who played a key role in perfecting their coffee processing. Paola previously worked for years as a cupper and buyer in Nariño and Huila, and returned to Patio Bonito in 2022 to help her dad.
This is trully an exceptional coffee, offering a complex acidity like Feijoa and Passionfruit. We feel very lucky to secure this coffee and share it with you.
Brewing Recommendation
- We roast light and expressive. Our recommendation for coffee to water ratio is 1:17 ratio.
- We recommend trying 92C-94C water temperature for any manual dripper.
- Freshly roasted coffee contains CO2. Allowing it to rest for 2–3 weeks will reduce the gas and will help the flavours open up.
